Philip H. Studler Sr., 82, of Vincennes, passed away Sunday July 26, 2026 at the Good Samaritan Hospital with his family at his bedside. Philip was born February 14, 1944 in Vincennes the son of Herbert W and Martha I. Glass Studler. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and was a musician. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Philip is survived by his children, Philip (Mary Lou) Studler Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Linda Reynolds of Vincennes and Stephen (Michelle) Studler of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. His cousin, Cyndi (Troy) Muncrief of Hot Springs, AR also survives.

He was preceded in death by a son, James L. Studler, his parents, Herbert W. Studler and Martha I. Glass Studler and 3 brothers, Fritz Studler, James Studler and Herbert Studler.

A gathering to celebrate his life will be held Thursday August 13, 2026 at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A procession to the gravesite will take place and he will be laid to rest in the Studler lot in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Donor’s Charity of Choice Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist Philip’s family during their time of loss.
