Obituary for Roy Lee Schroyer Roy Lee Schroyer, 84, of Vincennes, passed away Wednesday January 7, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Hospital at 11:27 PM. He was born July 13, 1930 in Vincennes the son of Alonzo W. and Clara Mitchell Schroyer. He was a graduate of Monroe City High School and he married Lucille Baker on December 2, 1963 and they made their life together for 51 years. He was a teamster truck driver through Teamster local 144 until his retirement. He worked at Wal-Mart in the automotive department to fill his time. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Schroyer, and a brother, Donovan W. Schroyer Sr. of Vincennes, IN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a twin brother, Lee Roy Schroyer, a sister Ruth Schroyer Frey and a half sister Fan McKie. Funeral services will be conducted Monday January 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Pastor John Nappo officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
