Obituary for Shelby Jean �Jeannie� Junod Shelby Jean �Jeannie� Junod, 76, of Bicknell, IN passed away Thursday morning at the I U Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN with her family at her bedside. She was born August 15, 1938 in Bicknell the daughter of Raymond and Edith Norrington O�Dell. She was a 1957 graduate of Bicknell High School and on October 25, 1958 she married William �Bill� Junod and they made their life together for 56 years. She retired form Prestolite and she attended the Salvation Army. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the French Club and Moose Club in Bicknell. She is survived by her husband, William �Bill� Junod, Bicknell, their daughters, Debra Firrone, and her husband Robert of Bicknell and Connie Snyder, and her husband Mike of Bicknell. Their grandchildren, Lydia Brown, Tabitha Fleener, Amanda Fuller, Ashley Snyder, Brittney Snyder and Cassie Snyder. Their great grandchildren, Rayna Brown, Bristol Fleener, Brody Fleener and Laila Brown. Her brothers, Ted O�Dell, and his wife Debbie of Evansville, IN and Bill Harding, and his wife Jo of Muncie, IN. Her sisters, Rose Summers of Odon, IN, Helen Chambers of Odon, IN, Teresa Baize of Bicknell, IN and Elsie McTaggert of Columbus, OH. She will be missed by her dearest friends, Ann Patton and Sharon and Dave Dillon. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Jack Harding and Ralph �Butch� O�Dell and 3 sisters, JoElla Graves Swan, Philis Giger and Mary Summitt. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel in Bicknell with Pastor Matt Hoffman officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Bicknell Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM Monday July 13, 2015 at the funeral home and prior to the services on Tuesday. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the donor�s charity of choice.
