Obituary for Sherman R. Fox Sr. Sherman R. Fox Sr., 65, of Clay City, IN, passed away Thursday November 25, 2021 at his home. Sherman was born on June 13, 1956 in Vincennes the son of John R and Clara E. Evans Fox. After high school he worked at KCARC and loved to work on old lawn mowers, playing music with his family and friends, going fishing and making people laugh. Sherman served his country in the U.S. Army He is survived by his children, Dustie Clark and her husband Harold of Bicknell, IN, Jean Pickelmann, and her husband Joe of Evansville, IN, Sherman R. Fox Jr and Taylor of Hymera, IN, Floyd Wheeler, and his wife Leia of Bruceville, IN and Ronnie Smith of Clay City, IN. He is also survived by his girl friend of 18years Patricia (Patty) McKee, 7 grandchildren, Thomas R. Fox, Cheyanne Clark, Hannah Clark, Jayden Fox, Dallas Wheeler, Shaylee Wheeler and Candem Wheeler. 3 Brothers, Steve Fox of Bicknell, Donnie Reed of Vincennes and Tommy Kean, and his wife Dana of Corydon, IN. Sherman was preceded in death by his parents, John R. and Clara Fox, 4 brothers, Kenny Fox, John R. "Pete" Fox, William J. "Bill" Fox, Jimmy Dale Fox and 2 sisters, Sandra Phillipe and Dorothy Frye.
