Obituary for Tyra D. Knotts Tyra D. Knotts, 60, of Vincennes passed away October 7, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, IN with her family at her bedside. Tyra was born May 22, 1959 in Vincennes the daughter of William Miles and Shirley Howder Gray. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and became a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant. She married Jack Knotts and they made their life together for over 35 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed anything to do with her family and was always there for them and her friends NO MATTER WHAT! Tyra is survived by her husband, Jack Knotts , children, Wendy Miles, and her fiancée Brandon Hooten, Ben Ford, Brad Ford, Sandy Knotts, and her fiancée, Paul Burton, Nicole Candler and Amanda Morton, Bob Bilskie, Wayne Followell and Brittany Campbell all of Vincennes, IN. Her beloved grandchildren, Brant Bilskie, Trevor Bilskie, Dustin Bilskie, Shaleigh Followell, River Followell, Halle Ford, Cash Ford, Reece Ford, Raygen Ford, Mia Ford, Macy Hooten, Dalton Cary, Braylee Followell, Mason Followell, Damien Burton and Aubrey Bedwell. She is also survived by a sister, Jody Miles of Vincennes, IN, her nephews, Keith Childers, Kyle Childers, Cody Miles and a great nephew, Noah Childers. She will be missed by her close friends and her many cousins. A Celebration of Her Life will be held Sunday October 13, 2019 at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with T.J. Sutton officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM with service to begin at 4:00 PM. The family request memorial contributions in her memory to the family to assist with the expenses of her illness. Duesterberg-Fredrick is honored to assist Tyra's family during their time of loss.
