Obituary for Damon G. Bilskie
Obituary for Damon G. Bilskie Damon G. Bilskie, 76, of Vincennes, passed away Sunday evening at the Good Samaritan Hospital with his family at his bedside. He was born December 26, 1938 in Vincennes the son of Louis �Louie� and Mary Gardner Bilskie. He was a truck driver for various trucking companies including Chris Vieck Farms, Tom Bilskie Trucking and R.A. Harrell. He was a member of the Catholic Faith and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He married Beverly Sheren on November 2, 1957 and they made their life together for 58 years. He enjoy his family and friends and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Bilskie, their children, Cheryl Wilson, and her husband Paul �Bub� of Vincennes, Damon M. Bilskie of Vincennes, Becky Carrie, and her husband Mark of Washington, IN, Sue Lucas, and her husband Jimmy of Vincennes, Pam Skinner, and her husband D.J. of Bicknell and April Camfield, and her husband Pat of Gilbert, AZ. His is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, a brother, Kenny Bilskie of Vincennes and a sister, Linda Sheren, and her husband Jim of Fruitland, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gary Bilskie and Max Bilskie. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday November 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday November 24, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Riley Children�s Hospital.
