Obituary for Ronald (Ron) Lee Boger 
Ronald Lee Boger 65, of Vincennes passed away September 4, 2020 with family by his side. He was \born September 2, 1955 The son of Noble Boger and Estella Richardson 
Born and raised in Vincennes IN and Ron married the love of his life Marilyn Reno, on Feb 13 1983, and raised two wonderful children, Eric Boger of Vincennes and Heather McGuyer and husband Dirk of Vincennes. Ron was 26 year retired member of the United States Army, retiring as First Sgt Boger. He graduated from Vincennes University with an associates degree in social science. Ron LOVED to watch the Yankees play and always loved a good political debate. Ron was very active in the community and had a passion for helping children, from many years as president of the Vincennes Girls League to helping S.O.S (save our school). Which lead to being the one of the first write in candidates Of Knox County to win an election and become a member of the Vincennes School Board. Ron retired from Toyota Manufacturing in 2015 after being employed there as a team leader for 18 years. He was a very active member of nearly every club in town and loved playing pool and singing karaoke, his passion for helping others and having fun shined in all he did. Ron’s biggest accomplishment was helping his grandkids grow and learn at “Papaws Daycare” Ron had a passion for living, he loved to swim all summer with his family, he loved to travel, and loved coaching. He enjoyed 5 years of retirement and spent as much time as he could with family and friends. 

Ron is survived by his wife Marilyn Boger, Two children Eric Boger and Heather (Dirk) McGuyer. Five grandchildren, Beckitt, Draven, Molly, Emersyn and Waverlee. Three brothers, Donald Boger, Jack Boger(Leslie), Rick Boger, one sister Donna McGregor(Leroy) many wonderful Brother and sisters in laws, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by His father Noble Boger, Mother Estella Richardson, two brothers Bill Boger and Dave Boger, and three sisters Dorthy Dunlap, Francis Collins, and Marilyn Boger. 

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses at Good Samaritan Hospital for their hard work and compassionate care they gave Ron for the past two weeks. Also a very Special Thank You to Dr Scott Stine and Dr Alan Stewart for their wonderful help with everything. Ron was blessed to have so many wonderful friends and the family wants you all to know how thankful they are for the many prayers they received during Ron’s Battle. 
A celebration of Ron’s Life will be held Saturday September 12, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Adams Coliseum where a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM with Bill Loffer officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the donor’s charity of choice. The family requests to honor Ron’s love for baseball, please wear MLB attire, any team but the Red Sox. In lieu of flowers, Ron would request you vote for none other than Donald Trump on November 3rd #bogerstrong.
